This is a red, white and blue march meant for anyone who cares about human rights. On Sunday, June 11th our unique, diverse, inter-sectional voices will come together in one harmonized voice.

We want you to join us.

**All marchers with TTF should be encouraged to wear a shade of blue.

Orren and Jose have made a banner and 3 large signs with our logo on them.

We will need more signs and we encourage you to make signs. Current sign ideas include, but are not limited to:
Resist Ignorance! Embrace Education!
Resist Hate! Embrace Love!
Resist Stigma! Embrace Acceptance!
Resist Fear! Embrace Courage!

1. We will meet at 1639 N. Schrader Blvd., in Hollywood (between Selma and Hollywood Blvd.) between 7 and 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. This is a parking lot just north of the L.A. LGBT Center building on Schrader and please carpool if you do drive. (The parking lot opens at 7 a.m.)

2. If you are taking the Metro Red Line, we strongly suggest you get off at Hollywood and Vine and walk over to Schrader, as the Hollywood & Highland stop is likely to be mobbed. If you are taking the bus, please check schedules on the Metro site for the Hollywood area as they may re-route buses. Leave yourself plenty of time to get to Hollywood!

3. We will leave the lot around 8 a.m. or a bit earlier. to head toward the Hollywood & Highland kickoff point as a group. You can see the march route here: https://www.resistmarch.org/coursemap.

4. We will have breakfast boxes and water for folks joining us. We also have protest signs and poster boards/markers for making our own signs.

5. Everyone who attends the Resist March will get a pass to the Pride festival (good for Sunday) in West Hollywood.

6. Bring sunscreen and/or a hat. You can still get a sunburn even if it’s foggy! And wear comfortable shoes, as the route is 3.2 miles long. The March organizers and Pride Festival have cautioned against having backpacks or big bags, so travel lightly. To see restrictions on what you can bring to the festival, see www.lapride.org . For more on the march, seewww.resistmarch.org.

it is time to come together, to rally and march. I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
